DocuSign CLM Named a Leader in Gartner’s 2021 Magic Quadrant for Contract Lifecycle Management
We are thrilled to announce that DocuSign has been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Contract Lifecycle Management. This is the second year in a row we have been identified as a Leader by Gartner, and we are pleased to see our vision and execution validated.
In its assessment, Gartner evaluated CLM vendors based on criteria including (but not limited to) Product/Service, Overall Viability, Market Responsiveness and Customer Experience. Of the 15 products evaluated, DocuSign CLM was named one of only four Leaders.
According to Gartner: “CLM appeals to companies of all sizes in all industries. Implementing it can lead to significant improvements in revenue management, cost savings and efficiency. Understanding and automating CLM can also limit an organisation’s liability and increase its compliance with legal requirements.
“Organisations without CLM struggle to manage their contracts effectively. The risks associated with poor contract management include overlooked penalties, lost revenue, damaged brands and lost savings. Even poor contract administration can lead to lost contracts, unexpected renewals and expirations, and hidden clauses that leave a company open to liabilities. It is common for business stakeholders to spend significant time determining which terms and pricing arrangements are current, when no CLM solution is in place.
“There are many benefits to mature enterprise CLM processes. Common benefits include increased governance over what is signed, when and by whom, and the protection of knowing that the correct contract terms are live. Such processes also provide deeper insights across all contractual agreements by analysing content, conditions and risk.”
Against this backdrop, it’s clear that managing the full contract lifecycle requires an integrated platform that includes CLM functionality plus contract analytics. The DocuSign Agreement Cloud includes the combination of DocuSign CLM with DocuSign Analyzer and DocuSign Insight to deliver contract management and AI-powered contract analytics in a single platform—all integrated with DocuSign eSignature, the world’s #1 way to sign electronically.
