BoxWorks is next week and we’re excited that Box has invited us to be part of such a fantastic event. DocuSign and Box have been partners for a number of years with one of the deepest integrations in the cloud. It’s pretty cool because you can easily pull documents from Box, send securely with DocuSign to collect information, payment and signature, then automatically save those documents back in Box. It’s as easy as it sounds – especially when you can do all of this anytime, anywhere, on any mobile device.
The BoxWorks conference is highly educational and informative – starting with Box CEO Aaron Levie’s keynote. No doubt he will set the tone for some amazing and insightful break out sessions throughout the event.
Of course, we always include in our blog posts the top 5 things we’re looking forward to at any event. Here’s mine:
I’m excited to hear Levie’s insights on the future of cloud storage, as well as the latest and greatest Box product features. Cloud storage is a hot, competitive market with brands that include DropBox, Google Drive, and a recent addition, salesforce.com’s ChatterBox announced at Dreamforce. I’m looking forward to hearing from Levie what the Box team is doing to further set themselves apart from their competition and reinforce box as one of the best choices for developers in the cloud storage space.
Jeremy Glassenberg is one of the most influential people in Silicon Valley when it comes to cloud storage and APIs. His session will focus on Box’s new “Instant Mode.” I’m eager to hear how it will help developers create cutting edge solutions in cloud storage. As a developer, why wouldn’t you want to have the internet equivalent of the old “open()” function in C where you can quickly and easily access a file? Jeremy’s session is definitely one to arrive to early.
#3 Demolish iOS Data Silos
Box has lead the effort on how files and data are shared on iOS, allowing API apps to collaborate in a way that is not possible with a built-in system API. This will be a great session to see what the latest App2App library looks like and how developers can quickly put the features to use.
Jeff Lawson is one of my personal heroes and I couldn’t be more excited for his session. Twilio is an amazing product and I am happy to say I count myself among the many geeks who are in love with their accessible API and a culture that is built around “do’ers”. Jeff’s fireside chat is guaranteed to be an educational and inspirational session.
BoxWorks always puts on amazing after parties but BoxWork’s after party is sure to be a stand out for me because they are bringing one of my personal favorite bands Weezer! I grew up listening to them and cant wait to sing along to Say It Ain’t So and Buddy Holly. If you don’t know Weezer… trust me, this party is one you won’t want to miss.
Now that I have shared my BoxWorks 2012 top 5, I would love to hear your top 5.
Share your list in the comments below and don’t forget to join the DocuSign conversation to stay up to the minute on what are will be doing at BoxWorks.
See you all there!
