Despite dealing with multi-million pound players, football clubs at the top level are still getting massive deals over the line via fax, potentially risking their hopes for the season on an outdated piece of technology, prone to breaking down.
What fans don’t want to hear come 1st September, is that the star striker they had been courting for the last three months hasn’t signed, because of a paper jam.
This is why we’re pushing the #FaxOutOfFootball campaign to bring the business side of football up to the same heights that the game on the field has reached.
This Transfer Deadline Day, Tuesday 1st September, we’ll be setting up the DocuSign Transfer Pub in central London to bring attention to the state of the transfer system and take a look at the future of the game off the field. We will be laying on free food and drinks and keeping up to date with all the latest moves as the window draws to a close.
If you are interested in attending, all you need to do is contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
Come along and let’s kick the Fax Out of Football!
