If you're involved in a time-sensitive transaction, you want to be informed of progress in real time. With DocuSign Transaction rooms, you can select which notifications you'd like to receive and where you'd like to receive them.

Notifications can be turned on for certain events:

  • When someone views a document you have shared
  • When you receive a document in your Transaction Room Inbox via fax or email
  • When someone shares or removes your access from a document in a transaction room
  • When someone adds you to or removes you from a transaction room
  • When there is activity related to the electronic signature of a document

You also have the option of turning on the Daily Digest. The Daily Digest is an email that summarizes your account activity for the previous 24 hours. If this is turned on and no activity has taken place with your account in the previous 24 hours, you will not receive a Daily Digest email. When you create a DocuSign Transaction Room account, Daily Digest and notification for activity related to the electronic signature of a document are enabled by default.

Note: Changing notification settings only affects your account. For other members of the transaction room to receive notifications, they must have notifications enabled within their own account.
