After 14 cities over 7 countries, late nights and early starts combined with a lot of coffee and more airplane food than we care to reminisce on, the DocuSign Signature Tour finally draws to a close. We have taken the Digital Transformation across the US, Europe, Africa and the United Arab Emirates, and taken great reward from meeting DocuSign enthusiasts from around the world along the way.
Our first leg back in September was a fantastic start to the DocuSign Signature Tour where we covered Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh where we were able to connect with our customers up and down the UK. Coming into November we were raring to get back on the road start the DocuSign tour overseas!
Kicking off our second leg of the DocuSign EMEA tour, we were really excited to get back on the road and host DocuSign’s inaugural user conference in Dubai. Where better to hold the maiden Emirates event then the world’s first 7 star hotel, the illustrious Burj Al Arab? This symbol of modern Dubai accommodated a collection of partners, customers, prospects, tech innovators and thought leaders to share ideas, discuss industry trends and network. These are the folks that are spearheading the digital revolution that is making its way across the globe.
We have had many highlights on the road, one of which would be making our first presence in Africa. With our Signature City Tour pulling into Johannesburg, we were fortunate enough to witness a fantastic turn out at the 54 on Bath where we had our guest speakers from Spartan and AdvanceNet. Both Yusuf Aboobaker and Bridgette Ward have built their careers around their passion for new technology and so it was great to share that passion around DocuSign with the audience of South Africa’s forward thinkers.
Another great feat we achieved with help from the DocuSign Signature Tour was hosting our very first all French-speaking event at the stunning Peninsula Hotel in Paris. As such, we are particularly proud of the Paris stop with our Country Manager for France, Sebastien Francois, leading the event’s success. With an agenda full of guest speakers from MetLife, Nortia, Microsoft, Box and OpenTrust amongst others, the Paris Signature Tour proved that France is one of the key pillars in DocuSign EMEA.
Another first for DocuSign was pulling the Signature Tour bus into Stockholm for our first event in the Nordics. The event collated some fantastic response and is sure to create a more expanding network for DocuSign within the Nordics region. We were very privileged to have guest speakers from LinkedIn and Projectplace to help introduce DocuSign and eSignatures to our Swedish audience in the suitably named, Grand Hotel.
For our second Signature Tour in Amsterdam, we once again saw a fantastic turnout, this time at the impressive Okura Hotel. There wasn’t an empty seat in the house as it was clear the DocuSign presence is currently booming in the Netherlands. We were fortunate enough to have 2 customer panels willing to enlighten our guests on how DocuSign has streamlined business processes and saved time and money. Companies such as EclectiC International, who after 8 months of using DocuSign, can see the benefits of moving to a digital platform. They kindly took part in our customer panel, as well as hosting their own presentation on how DocuSign has significantly accelerated results for their business. Overall, Amsterdam stood as a key event where DocuSign solidified our strong presence within the Netherlands and how well supported we are by our customers and partners alike.
Finally we are back on UK soil and are overwhelmed by the positive feedback we have received post-tour. We look forward to reaching out to the new faces we have met along the way and the new relationships we can begin building across EMEA.
