Over a year ago, my team and I decided to challenge a common trend in business applications—namely how they tend to be slow, complex, ugly and just painful to use. “It doesn’t have to be this way,” we thought. So we got to work designing an experience that is easier, faster, and more intuitive than ever.
The team spent countless late nights refining every detail and incorporating customer feedback. Now, it is my great pleasure to announce that the New DocuSign Experience, the next generation of the DocuSign user experience, is live and available to all customers!
Here are a few highlights of the New DocuSign Experience:
Re-envisioned, Centralized Dashboard
We’re so proud of the new DocuSign dashboard. The uncluttered layout brings the most important information front and center. Right from the dashboard, you can check document status at a glance, prepare files for sending, manage your documents and templates, and more.
Streamlined Sending Experience
The sending process is more intuitive and effortless to use than ever. Drag and drop files directly from your computer to upload them, drag recipients into place to match your workflow, and send individualized private messages to each participant. Based on user feedback, we also moved advanced options (like reminders and expirations) to the footer—out of the way, but there if you need them. Simplified screens and reduced number of steps means you can send documents with minimal time and effort!
You Control Your Starting Date
All Individual accounts will automatically be in the New DocuSign Experience, but users have the option to switch to the Classic DocuSign Experience if desired. For plans with more than one user, we’re giving DocuSign admins the power to switch to the New DocuSign Experience whenever they want, but opting in is completely optional. Choose to enable the new experience for an entire account or for specific users whenever the company is ready. Watch this video to learn how to switch your account to the new experience.
